IT'S TIME TO PRAY --- NOW!

Intercession
... is to act or interpose in behalf of someone in difficulty or trouble, as by pleading or petition.
Luke 18:1
" Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to [a]turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up)."

Oswald Chambers wrote; "You cannot truly intercede through prayer if you do not believe in the reality of redemption. Instead, you will simply be turning intercession into useless sympathy for others,... ."

Our directive here at Mom's Praying for the Generations is to pray with confidence that our God hears our cries to Him for the behalf of others. That we do 'believe' He will perform a perfect work in the  hearts and lives of those we lift up to Him.

When we pray, our objective is to pray with the Mind of God. This is why it is good to pray in the Spirit. Rom. 8:26, "In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;"
Thus, praying His Perfect Will. Sometimes, His Will may turn to be something far different than what we anticipated. This is why we must not pray what we think others want to hear.

Now, is the time to pray; people all over this world are in critical-emergency situations. Families are broken, as well as financial difficulties are wearing folks down, depression has taken a hold on individuals hearts. Let alone,  all the death in the world from civil unrest.

Being an intercessors means we lay our agenda's aside and seek God's. Not just for our lives but to serve others by serving Him. God is searching and knocking on hearts of His Children to intercede now; for the loss, hurting, lonely, hungry and on.

Pray with us as we are before the Throne Room of our King; deeply interceding for others.

James 5:13-16

"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."

I would like to lift a friend of mine up for prayer for salvation or rededication what have you.. His late father was a preacher but was also very abusive both physically and mentally to him and his brother growing up.. I was in a very short and confusing friendship/relationship w/ him and he is very angry at God although he denies it.. and he has a lot of arrogance and rebellion in him, his in link w/ some friends that have very dangerous thinking not only not christians but very anti christian, he claims he still believes in God but he's far from any sort of christian lifestyle at all.. Im praying for a way to reach him but Id just be happy if someone (possibly a Godly grown man) would be able to reach his heart with a word from the Lord.. I love this man and he has served our country and been through so much personal torture in his life.. I know how it feels to be angry and not admit it to ones self and be on the path to destruction.. Ive already tried speaking w/ him on the subject and cannot get through.. I know God has a plan for RH's life as he does for each of us... I am at my wits end here.. so Im leaving him in the Lords hands if you will pray with me for him.

Asking you to pray, and post this on the prayer site for me, if possible? Our car is in the shop for the third time in a month. We do not have the $$ for repairs. Please pray it is a simple fix, or that whatever they did before just needs to be tweaked.
Thanks!"

Love ya, Rachel — with Kenny Hufnagle at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
